At our church, we are passionate about supporting worthy causes. In 2024, we successfully raised £3,200 for MIND, enhancing mental health support in our community.

 

This year, we’re excited to continue our tradition of generosity by fundraising for two important initiatives:
  • Kingfisher Cafe: A local community hub providing nourishment and companionship.
  • Our church roof replacement: Ensuring our sacred space remains a warm, welcoming home for all.

Support Scarborough Unitarian Church's roof restoration

Since 1876, the Scarborough Unitarian Church has been a beacon of faith, hope, and community. Our cherished roof, now nearly 150 years old, has weathered many storms but is in desperate need of your support to continue standing strong.

Imagine the countless prayers, celebrations, and moments of solace that have taken place beneath this aging canopy. Now, it’s our turn to give back. The current roof, devoid of insulation, not only increases our costs but also fails to provide the warm embrace our community deserves during our gatherings.

We face an urgent challenge – our roof requires complete replacement at an estimated cost of £60,000. With your help, we aim to raise £35,000 to keep our spiritual home intact for future generations.
